How do you define a job?

A job is a job in a GitHub Actions workflow that runs on a Sprinters-launched runner.

Do I get charged if a job's runner fails to launch?

No. Only jobs that succeed in launching a runner are counted. Jobs that error out or get cancelled before that do not incur charges.

Do I get charged if no jobs are running?

No. Sprinters scales to zero. There is no agent or control plane to run in your account. And you don't incur any charges when no jobs are running.

Does AWS charge me for the runner instances?

Yes. Sprinters launches runner instances in your AWS account. AWS charges you for compute, storage and bandwidth costs while the instances are running.

Does Sprinters work with reserved instances?

Yes. Sprinters launches instances in your AWS account. Select the instance type and subnet in the AZs of your reservation to automatically make use of your reserved instances.
