You can choose from 9 different AWS regions across the globe where to launch your instances:

Pricing

AWS charges vastly different amounts for EC2 instances in each region.

If your jobs can tolerate it, consider switching to a more cost-effective region as other regions can be over to 2X cheaper for the same instance type.
